The Lancet Commission on Global Hearting Loss met at Duke University in Durham, NC in October 2019. Commissioners include global experts in hearing loss. During this visit, members discussed the vision for the Commission, established work groups, and explored opportunities to provide high-impact and pragmatic solutions to the global hearing loss challenge.
In June, Commission Chair Wilson and Co-Chairs Tucci, Chadha, Olusanya and Commissioner O’Donoghue met at the Lancet Headquarters in London with Richard Horton, Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet, and Helen Frankish, Lancet editor and liaison for our Commission, to discuss expectations and vision for the Commission.
